Classic British Telephone - high-quality reproductionBrand New Unused in Original Packaging
Authentic reproduction of the classic
302 Desk Phone, first introduced in 1937 and designed by
Henry Dreyfuss. This vintage-style telephone is based on the iconic
GPO 302, a model that set the standard for desk phones during the mid-20th century. Originally made from metal and later produced in durable Bakelite, the 302 became one of the first phones to incorporate the bell inside the base, earning the nickname
“The Cow’s Hoof” due to its distinctive shape.
This working telephone combines classic design with
modern technology for full compatibility with contemporary landline connections. With a weight of about 1.5 Kg, it is heavier than most other reproduction phones, giving it excellent stability when dialing and preventing it from sliding on smooth surfaces. Its rugged construction not only enhances durability but also provides a more authentic vintage feel, closely resembling the weight and solid build of the original 1930s design.
Features:
- Push Button Dialing – Enjoy the vintage look with modern convenience
- Redial Button – Easily call the last dialed number
- Ringer Volume Control – Adjustable ringer for customizable sound
- Tone/Pulse Switch – Compatible with different phone systems
- Earpiece Volume Control – Adjust to your preferred level
- Simply plugs into a standard phone socket – Easy to install and use
With its timeless
1930s styling and
bold red colour, this reproduction makes a striking addition to any home or office. Whether you're a collector, a retro enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique conversation piece, the Wild & Wolf
