Along with mallets, croquet balls are the most important part of a croquet set. Get it right, and you will be able to really feel the shot, and appreciate fully the right "knock" as one ball hits another. The important thing to look for in a croquet ball is that it is of regulation size and weight (a regulation croquet ball must be 3 5/8" diameter, and weigh 16 ounces), as a ball that is too light or too small will not behave in the way it should do. Finding regulation size & weight balls is actually not as easy as you might think, and if you do find them, they are usually quite highly priced - until now that is. Our replacement balls are made from a tough composite material and will provide years of good service. We offer so-called primary colours (Red, Blue, Black & yellow), as well as the secondary colours (Pink, Brown, White & Green). We sell individual balls, or as sets of primary or secondary colours.

Croquet balls are usually purchased for two reasons - either as replacements for
lost or broken balls, or as additions to an existing set. Adding croquet balls
to an existing set is a very good idea, as it enables more players to play together.
More experienced croquet players will know that it is generally more fun to play
with two balls each, rather than just one - if each side has two balls, the possbilities
for playing a strategic game become more numerous. So, four players might have
two balls each, requiring six balls in total. A total of 8 balls allows up to
eight players to for 4 teams of 2 people, each team of two sharing two balls (far
more fun than having 8 people using 8 separate colours!)
PRIMARY COLOURS are Red Blue Black & Yellow. These are the colours
generally used when using up to 4 balls. SECONDARY COLOURS are Pink,
Brown, White and Green, and these are generally used when using more than 4 balls
All in all, our replacement regulation croquet balls represent great value for
money, and are ideal if you wish to replace a broken Ball, or add balls to an
existing set, but do not want to pay the sort of prices that you have traditionally
been required to pay.
