Solar Home Power Station Kit The solar panel must be located outside and is supplied with a robust aluminium stand that allows firm location either in the garden or on a flat roof (the stand supports the solar panel at the optimum angle of 70 degree's). The supplied cable then runs from the solar panel and connects directly into the waterproof battery box, which contains a high performance 85Ah battery and a charge controller. The battery output cable then needs to enter the building and is then connected to the supplied power inverter. The inverter has a UK 3-pin socket on the other where a multi gang extension cable (not supplied) can be attached to run your electrical appliances.
This kit will power most household electrical devices
such as the following: CD player, TV, video, DVD, satellite
box, gaming stations, lap top computer, desk top computer,
printer, fax, mobile phone charger, desk lamp, table lamp,
toaster, coffee maker, food mixer, power tool charger,
pond pump/fountain, electric lawnmower, garden lights
etc etc.
Part P of the new building Regulations introduced in the
UK in January 2005 require any outdoor electrical work
to be completed by a qualified electrician but our Power
Station kit, unlike installing an external mains supply,
can be installed easily by the DIYer without the need
to involve an electrician, thereby saving
you money (and expensive excavations!).

Energy is a tried and tested power source that is

Solar Panels There are several different methods
of harnessing the sun’s energy with Solar panels. Our
panels are based on the finest crystalline silicon technology,
which is more efficient than amorphous or other thin film
technologies, particularly in low light conditions. This
makes it the best choice for our cloudier climate! While
the UK does not experience extreme weather very often,
our panels are specially designed for use in harsh environmental
conditions so you will never need to worry about storm
damage. The individual solar cells are laminated onto
a multi-layer back sheet to protect against moisture ingress
and ensure UV stability and electrical insulation. The
cell base is encapsulated onto strengthened water white
low iron tempered glass and mounted into a corrosion-resistant,
heavy-duty anodised aluminium frame for stability.
