Having held four Royal
Warrants and having existed through five reigns over
140 years, Thomas Crapper & Co. is a classic manufacturer
of the finest bathroom fittings. One of the most famous
installations of Thomas Crapper bathroomware is the Royal
Palace of Sandringham, the Royal Family's traditional
Christmas residence. Thomas Crapper & Co. produce an extraordinarily-authentic
set of Victorian/Edwardian sanitaryware. In fact these
products are so authentic, they are often bought by professional
restorers to replace components in original Thomas Crapper
Victorian bathroom sets. Modern methods and materials
are used where deemed appropriate, but only where they
do not compromise the integrity of any piece. There have
been no changes of design for economy or ease of production.
Such very small alterations which have been made are solely
to allow connection to modern plumbing. ALL CRAPPER SANITARYWARE
IS MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. Thomas Crapper does not sell
cheaper "seconds" - if the product fails our inspection,
it is destroyed. It will be obvious that this insistence
upon authentic design and quality increases considerably
the costs of production. If we may quote Sir Henry Royce,
a contemporary of Thomas Crapper: "The quality remains
long after the price is forgotten."

Thomas Crapper, makers of the finest bathroom fittings:
By the 1880's, Crapper & Co.'s reputation was such that
they were invited to supply the Prince of Wales (later Edward
VII) at Sandringham. Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and
Westminster Abbey all benefitted from Crapper goods and
services. Today, the Crapper manhole covers in the Abbey
are popular for brass rubbings! Crapper & Co. remained by
Royal Appointment to Edward when he became King and was
also warranted by George V, as Prince of Wales and once
again as King. more
