Classic 1930s candlestick telephone produced in the UK,. A well-known classic telephone, especially suited to fit into a period setting.

Bell-Ring Options: These early telephones did not have an internal bell set, but relied on an external set of bells for registering incoming calls. While it is technically possible for us insert a bell set into this telephone, it is NOT something we are happy to do, since the modifications necessary would actually lower the value of the phone (best to keep them as original as possible!). So, to get around the problem, we use a small external bell-set fitted to the BT plug. This means you do not have to do any installation work - you just plug the phone in and it will all work straight away - and your telephone will ring using a mechanical bell set, just as it did three quarters of a century ago! We also offer an original bell set (see below), which produces a more substantial sound. Again, installation is easy - just plug it in to your BT socket. The only thing you will need to do is mount this bell set (usually on the skirting board next to your telephone socket)
