For snorkelling it is usual to have about 2lbs
buoyancy. For diving it is usual to have about
5oz buoyancy (150gms). In both cases the scooter
will rise to the surface if accidentally released
at depth. Maximum buoyancy is normally used for
children and infirm / disabled swimmers.
