The Hotspot Mini Tech table heater is designed to be not
only sleek and elegant, but also extremely energy efficient,
making it one of the most desirable patio heaters available.
The Mini Tech uses surface combustion technology rather
than the traditional burner/emitter assembly resulting in a far
more efficient way to produce infrared energy. Consuming only 2.7 kilowatts of energy, it is nonetheless capable of producing a 3-4-metre heat
circle. At this rate, it is usually able to make a standard gas bottle last approximately
100 hours. The unique universal clamp will fit any table
with a parasol hole 30-60mm in diameter. Patent pending.

Gas
Bottles - You can use either butane (traditionally for
the home market and generally in a blue bottle) or propane
(generally in a red bottle). We recommend
propane for patio heaters, not only because it
burns slightly hotter, but it generally behaves better at
lower temperatures (ie at times when a patio heater may
be required to function). Find your local supplier by looking
under 'bottled gas' in the Yellow Pages, or call Calorgas
on 0800 662 663.
Gas Regulator - A gas regulator is required to attach
all patio heaters to the gas bottle. At
we recommend the use of a 13kg "Patio Gas" propane gas bottle
by Calor Gas, which requires the use of an easy-to-use "clip-on"
regulator. |
