The Silver
Marine Wood Deck
(MS) inflatable boat
range is ideal for boating inland and at sea. Our Wood
Deck inflatable boats, combine the best features of inflatable
boats (stability, safety, economy, lightness), with ease
of set up. They can also be deflated easily transported
in the back of a car (so no trailer needed). The maximum
engine power on the MS range goes up to 12HP. The quick-assembly
hard-wearing wooden deck is made from marine plywood,
providing a solid feel under your feet, and is an ideal
surface to carry equipment, such as diving apparatus.
Our MS model can carry up to 4 adults. The Wood Deck sits
above an inflatable V-shaped keel - these boats are definitely
NOT to be confused with flimsy blow-up dinghies. The buoyancy
of a Silver Marine boat is far greater than that of traditional
boats, giving it excellent loading capacity. Greater buoyancy
also allows the boat to reach shallow water areas that
traditional boats cannot reach.
What's more, Silver Marine inflatables can be up to 3
times lighter than a comparable traditional boat. This
means that you can easily take your boat back home after
use on a trailer,
or in the boot of your car (so you can avoid mooring fees,
and the costs of river licences).
Our Wood Deck range of Silver Marine inflatable boats is
perfect for tendering (ie transporting people and supplies
to and from a larger boat). These boats are also suitable
for inland use, not just at sea. Our boats come with everything
supplied and are ready for mounting an outboard motor.
Your boat will be supplied boxed - you will therefore
need to purchase separately your own outboard motor (if
required) and trailer (if required).
Safety - All our Silver
Marine boats have surpassed the rigourous testing standards
carried out by the TUV laboratory in Germany and the ICNN
institute in France, which are both notifed bodies in
Europe. All produst comply with the EN ISO-6185:2-3 CE
Standard. Our Wood Deck boats are inherently safe and stable,
with 3 independent air chambers sealed in the tube to
ensure that the boat never tips over under normal conditions,
and can still be manoeuvered even with one air chamber
deflated.
