The new Silver Marine RIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) for
2006 is a true, high performance boat. Designed for sports
and leisure, our RIBs offer great manoeuverability and speed,
to go with the inherent safety of large tubes. Available
in a number of sizes our Silver Marine speed boat range
is perfect for your next boating adventure, be it in the
sea, or on rivers and lakes. Larger models come with a steering
console and either a straddle or bench seat. Each boat is
delivered on a wooden pallet within a few days of ordering
direct to your door - you will need to purchase your own
standard outboard motor and trailer - both of which are
widely and easily available.

The Silver
Marine rigid hull inflatable boat (RIB) range is where
more serious performance boating starts. You've seen the
inflatable speed boats on the television, capable of being
used at sea - well, rigid hull inflatable boats go a stage
further, combining the best features of inflatable boats
(stability, safety, economy, lightness) with a solid strong
hull, giving the RIB the characteristics and performance
of a sea-going speedboat - the maximum engine power on
the RIB range goes up to over 70HP - that's an engine
that is more powerful than a typical family car. And the
largest RIB model can carry up to 7 adults. The buoyancy
of a Silver Marine boat is far greater than that of traditional
boats, giving it excellent loading capacity. Greater buoyancy
also allows the boat to reach shallow water areas that
traditional boats cannot reach.
What's more, Silver Marine inflatables can be up to 3
times lighter than a comparable traditional boat. This
means that you can easily put your boat back on it's trailer
after use (so you can avoid mooring fees, and the costs
of river licences).
Our RIB range of Silver Marine boats is also suitable
for inland use, not just at sea. Our boats come with everything
supplied and are ready for mounting an outboard motor.
Your boat will be supplied on a wooden pallet - you will
therefore need to purchase separately your own outboard
motor and trailer.
Safety - All our Silver
Marine boats have surpassed the rigourous testing standards
carried out by the TUV laboratory in Germany and the ICNN
institute in France, which are both notifed bodies in
Europe. All produst comply with the EN ISO-6185:2-3 CE
Standard. Our RIB boats are inherently safe and stable,
with 3 independent air chambers sealed in the tube to
ensure that the boat never tips over under normal conditions,
and can still be manoeuvered even with one air chamber
deflated.
Options: Our Silver Marin RIB range comes in various
size options. The picture above shows the RIB boat with
the optional steering console and bench seat (available
on the larger models). The straddle seat option is more
like that of a motorbike seat, but positions the driver
infront of the steering console in the same way as the
bench seat. The various model options are shown below:

performance, making it one of the stars of the Paris boat
