Do you remember playing on a climbing
frame when you were a child? We all know that climbing
frames provided endless hours of fun, and our latest play
centre products really do represent great value for money
for parents who want to buy their children something quite
special. One of our best-selling Twin Tower PlayCentres,
the Twin Arundel offers loads of FUN. The two wooden towers
with 90cm (3ft) square wooden platforms are connected
by a 1.6m (63”) long clatterbridge. Access to the towers
can be by the wide wooden staircase, the wooden rungs
or using the 8 rung by 4 strand commando net. From one
tower leads a strong 3m (10ft) wavy green slide, off the
other is attached the tall swing-arm with its two wooden
swings. Depending on your garden layout the swing arm,
commando net and staircase may be positioned off the two
towers in a variety of ways, either to create a long thin
unit or a squarer U-shaped design. Beneath one of the
towers is a sandpit with seats for little children. This
PlayCentre is unequalled anywhere in the UK in terms of
design, features incorporated and quality, all at an unbeatable

To add play value to this unit for older children,
the addition of an Assault Course (ATJE 469)on the end
of the Swing Arm or a Monkey Bars (ATJE 60.4) off the
tower (keeping the swing arm or ordering without a swing
arm) provides high quality climbing challenges. There
are also the options of upgrading the Clatterbridge to
the Carisbrooke wooden tunnel (ATJE550) at the time of
ordering, changing the standard wooden roofs for the curved
Carisbrooke design and adding the climbing ramp with rope
ATJE 245. For younger children the picnic table and seat
(ATJE 124) can be fitted beneath the clatterbridge to
make a great picnic area.

Assembly
& Maintenance - Full Step by Step instructions are given
with every item. Please follow all assembly instructions
and do not carry out any adaptations to the Play Systems,
as these could affect your warranty. The Arundel Twin should
always be secured to the ground that it stands on. If you
are putting it on top of decking then we would suggest galvanised
angle brackets available at most DIY stores, if you are
putting it onto a grassy surface, woodchip, or similar then
we recommend Ground Anchors (supplied with the Arundel Twin).
All Items are to be assembled by Adults. All Screws and
Bolts together with Fixings and Anchor Points should be
checked and, if required, adjusted at least twice a year.
Replace any damaged parts immediately. The Pressure Treated
timber will naturally, over time, change colour through
Green to Brown and then to Grey. To reduce this colour change
the timber can be treated once a year, good quality wood
stains are available from Hardware and DIY stores, please
follow manufacturers guidelines for application of these
stains and to see if they are suitable. The application
of stains is optional as the colour change in the wood will
not affect it’s strength, durability or the warranty. Cracks
and Fissures may occur as timber dries and this
is a normal process and does not affect the
overall strength and durability of the timber. The timber
will change colour over time and may also contain Knots
and Knot Holes. These are not covered by the warranty as
these naturally occur in all pressure treated wood.
Safety Advice
- The Arundel Twin Climbing Frame and Swing Set is suitable for
children aged 3-14, up to a maximum of 50kg per child and
up to a maximum of 3 children at any time. Not suitable
for children under 36 months - children under this age may
fall off and not be able to sufficiently support themselves.
Do not position the Arundel Twin over concrete, asphalt or any
other hard surface or near to any water hazards. We recommend
that you place the Arundel Twin on a level surface at least 2m
from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage,
house, overhanging branches, laundry lines or electrical
wires. Do not Modify your Play system as this may adversely
affect it's function and will also void your warranty. Only
to be used under Adult Supervision. |
