Tower of London-themed chess set in presentation box with folding wooden board. This set of hand-decorated chess pieces that has been designed and developed under licence from Historic Royal Palaces Enterprises Ltd. Known for housing the Crown Jewels, Ravens, Yeoman Warders, otherwise known as Beefeaters, the Tower today is the most visited historic site in Britain. The White Tower, oldest of all the Towers buildings was originally built as a royal palace and fortress, but also served as a prison, a royal chapel, a record office and a large storehouse for arms, armour and gunpowder. The White Tower Chess Set in Presentation Box with Board
This product is sold as a
complete chess set, comprising both hand-decorated chess
pieces and board. The board supplied is SAC's Wooden Folding
Board (code H645, normally retailing for £ 56.95)
made from Walnut and Sycamore. The board dimension is
44cm square, and the square size is 2" (50mm).
Established in Yorkshire, UK in 1969 as Studio Anne Carlton,
