In August 2005 we received the sad news that Airbounce -
one of the pioneering trampoline companies that helped to
make trampolining in the UK so popular - ceased trading.
Known for good customer service and quality trampolines,
Airbounce were one of our preferred suppliers for a number
of years. Airbounce's main trampolines brands were JumpKing
and Proline, and problems at Airbounce probably started
as a result of changes at JumpKing. The JumpKing brand was
acquired by Bazoongi (Part of US-based YJ Corporation),
who were looking to supply high specification trampolines
to the UK. Left with large stocks, and unable to introduce
a modern replacement for their trampoline ranges in an increasingly
competitive market, it seems that Airbounce were forced
to cut prices at a time when they were selling fewer trampolines
- we assume financially unsustainable in the medium term.
We wish Bill, Daneila and all the staff at Airbounce good
luck for the future.
